This week we are all about delicious baked snacks! Yesterday we had the pleasure of having our amazing Chocolate Paleo Cookies. And today we are going to have a more salty kind of snack. It’s the all-time favourite Onion Rings, now with a twist! We are talking about Baked Paleo Onion Rings. Oh yeah! Not only are these onion rings NOT deep fried, they are also gluten-free. YAAAAS!! Are you as excited as I am?
I have to admit, I only made this Baked Paleo Onion Rings because I was just trying to find ways to use up all the almond flour that I just got from Costco. If you are like me, you might be sceptical about using almond flour for baking. I was just not familiar with it as an ingredient. But it turns out really yummy! It is definitely WAY better than I expected.
If you are still reluctant about making some Onion Rings, let me tell you, it is easier than you might think. All you have to do is just slice up the onions like the above picture. And then, remove the rings. You will get a bunch of rings like the below picture.
Now, all you need to do is just dip the rings in beaten eggs, and then flour mixture. Line them on your baking sheet, then you are ready to bake ’em!
Don’t those golden perfections have your name all over them?
